... nourished by millions of tons of "goverment permited" animals & or humans excrements directly or as fertilizers ! ?
It does not matter if it is animal's or human's . frankly we call
it excrement .
It seems that we do not have a choice and goverments feeding
us whatever they like & when we are buying we are not able
to think about what we realy are eating !
* Are there any honorable giant or small supermarkets that
would post a sign on top of each fruit or vegetable next to
it's price describing if they are fed by excrements or not ! ?

No, but I am sure you are going to tell me anyway. I can tell, just by the way you use that tone "you people".

Well, first off, Human waste is RARELY used in fertilizer for produce because A: It has VERY little minerals in it that the plants would use, and B: Its much more disease prone than that of say bovine or equestrian manure.

Second, I am well aware of it. The ground that it is applied to acts as a natural filter, as does the plant. The plant uses the minerals in the manure for growing the fruit. By the time it gets into the plant, it is no longer "manure," it is those base minerals. The only thing that I would consider "nasty" would be if they applied the manure fresh. Most of the time, the manure that is applied is usually processed in more than one way, meaning dried, shredded, other nutrients added, and then packaged after a bit of sterilization.

I don't think that the fact that we use manure to fertilize our plants is a big problem, personally. Just think of if you've ever had to take a drink out of a water fountain in a larger city. MOST of the time that water comes from a waste processing facility, so it has made several trips through another human being before. Even if you live in the country, and get your water from a lake, imagine the fish droppings in there. If you live on a well, imagine the impurities that are in the ground.

The nasty part is if you do not wash your produce, as the pesticides that are used pose more of a threat then the manure used to fertilize the plants.

Biotechnologists are gone by. In the 90s there were some of
those that argues that organic gardening is the pure system.
Truth is that these issues are billions of years old, and though
not all tribes and species are as blessed as you are, you are senior in this problem. You know that your mule, donkey, ox,
cat, dog, even mouse are made in evolutionary cleanliness in the
image of holy God, to be a s sanitary as possible. Though this is
not a topic of reality. BUGS, are that one item in all nature areas
that can be harmful. Disease, infection, tumor, malnutritions all
are because of Lower exposure to natures fresh products than
is recommendable. So get out there and grow some oranges.

If you buy commercial produce, you are getting all sorts of questionable stuff, including pesticides, genetically modified food, herbicides, and other chemicals. The only solution is to buy organic, or do like I do and grow your own fruits and veggies. It can be done in even the smallest of spaces, with container gardens, kitchen counter herbs, small pots, and inverted (upside down gardening), or with grow lights in an indoor room. Its the only way to be sure of what you are actually consuming, I knew nothing about gardening, but decided to learn- Thanks to indoor hydroponics, I now enjoy year round produce and fruits. During the growing season, I also have an outdoor garden. Its worth learning about, and putting into practice.

Well, lets think about it this way ... we and animals poo out extra vitamins and minerals that are not needed by our bodies. Plants that grow fruits and veggies only absorb what they need. Its rare that they would absorb something harmful. I think people have been using animal poo as fertilizer for a long long time. Obviously you have not grown up on a farm lol.

You have made me aware of a problem that I honestly didn't know existed. As I think about it, the only answer I can see is that I need to have my own garden and know what is fertilizing my food.

This has been going on for a long time. Either wash your produce well or quit eating it or grow your own if it bothers you this much. I myself am fine with it.
