This girl is a perfectionist and is snoby and bitchy! And she thinks she knows it all. She is pretty good, but I know I am too. Its just I'm prone to mistakes, but so are others including her sometimes. Should I speak with my boss about this? I don't like her pointing out mistakes to my boss since this makes me look bad. Please help!

You should definitely speak to your Boss about it. But although you don't want to look bad to you Boss, you should point out her errors as well. Not to get even or anything like that. But your Boss can't fix it they don't know it's broken.

Talk to her.

1) Why is she going to the boss first rather than coming to you?

2) Are you being receptive to her comments is she does point out a mistake to you, or is your response snobby and bitchy?

3) Do you thank her for pointing out your mistake and do you tell her you appreciate how she came to you first before going to the boss.

4) Do you thank her for being so helpful to you as you are trying to do your job without making mistakes and appreciate how much she is helping you do a better job.

5) Honey attracts more insects than vinegar. Kill her with sweetness.

If all this doesn't work, then it might be time to sit down with your boss and have a frank discussion about why it would be better if your co-worker came to you first rather than bothering your busy boss with such minor details, since you are sure he would rather you handle things like this between co-workers rather than being a bother to him.

Easy.

When you make a mistake-- You take it straight to your boss and make sure the boss understands and knows your plan to correct the error. You beat the co-worker to the punch and make her tatling look ridiculous.

Your co-worker will suddenly begin to look like the busybody she is.

" I'm prone to mistakes " I hope you are not in the medical field, an air traffic controller, etc. (But if you are in the finance field, drop me a note so I can be get the benefits of your mistakes.)

Review all your work prior to giving to anyone, forwarding, hitting the "enter button."

Sorry, you need to solve the problem... you are complaining about a symptom.

There is a saying" every dog has its day" So be cool. You confront her or to tell your boss, will belittle you further...
