I have seen reports that guava leaf extract is effective against Candida Albicans. It has some side effects that would concern me like the leaf extract’s effects on blood clotting times. We have other drugs that work on the oral biofilms that protect C. Albicans from the azole drugs. Nystatin works well on the biofilms. If someone is doing studies that specific on Guava leaf extract, it is probably a drug company and they would be keeping it secret.
