yes and unfortunately it can last several months. Its just your incision healing and your body going back to the way it was. Try taking a tylenol ultra it always worked for me.

sorry to here your hurting. It may be your uterus contracting back to its normal size. Just as it expands for the baby when growing in side you. It may be more painful due to the fact that it was cut and closed up compounding the pain a normal delivery would incur while healing. Just keep in mind the uterus was the size of an orange befor baby. And now its trying to return to normal size which can take several months. To be sure all is ok definetly call your OB. Hope you feel better. P.S. try putting some neosporen on the insition site , it keeps the skin on the out side from getting dry and tough . It may help a little on the tightning feeling you are getting and help it heal better with less scarring.

I had a c-section and was definitely tender there for a long time. Quite sore for at least 2 weeks and then the pain eased slowly, but I still had to be careful doing certain things.
BUT I never had cramps like that. Do you have a discharge or anything coming out of there? You may have an infection so I would be going to the doctor - it's quite common.

Is it at incision or is it behind the incision?

One of the things that is happening as you are healing is that your uterus is shrinking back to a non pregnant size and that feels like menstrual cramping only much much worse!
