Over the summer, my hair looked great. Even up to the day before school started. It was thin and combed easy to a managable style.

I keep the same habits with my hair year round, yet somehow when school starts my hair feels thicker and gets extremely poofy for days upon washing it.

It's very abnormal and I don't like it.

What things could possibly make hair do this?

PS: On weekends, it slightly returns to the normal state of summer, only to return back on the Monday morning.

its probably a habit you have that you only do during the school year. often bathing MORE often is a case. you should only wash your hair once every two days to keep it healthy, even if you use conditioner. it may also be the time that you wake up, or related to humidity. perhaps you inadvertantly wash it more thuroghly during the school year to feel cleaner since you contact more people.......

Maybe its the water the school uses, if you take showers at school you would be using their water. It may sound crazy but there are different kinds of water, and some act differently with your hair.

A TIME ISSUE
You had more time to mess with it in the morning or afternoons. Not hurried like on school morning.

so you're a boy right? ummm.. tough question. my first guess was that over the summer and on weekends ur less stressed out so ur hair is jus more relaxed. but that sounds kinda weird! :D good luck!

I'm not sure,

That's an odd case of frizziness.

Try using a LOT of conditioner,
And keep combing it.

Maybe it's your school's environmental factors that affect you, like sweat from gym class or something.

I hope that helps! :)
