why are the people that make fun of R&S and why is there so much hate in this section. shouldn't we all try to love one another, and rejoice in all of our faiths?

Jesus didn't not embrace or endorse all faiths. He said that, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No man cometh to the Father except by Me." So if you are not a Christian then there is nothing to rejoice in. As for all of the differences within Christendom, all I can say is there have always been differences of opinions and that is not likely to change anytime soon..Get a strong grasp on what you believe and why and put your two cents worth in when you feel like it. It can be a fun thing to do.

I have been a catholic now for many many years, and to think that people could love and rejoice in all faiths is simply wishful thinking because it's simply never going to happen, because religion in it's self has become a violent and evil institution that will not stand for any competition, and if you do not think this to be true just look at what is happening with religion today, Islam and Christianity is about to explode into a violent slaughter of hundreds of thousands of Innocent people, history has always repeated it's self regarding religion,and it hasn't let mankind down yet, may God have mercy on us all.

I'm an Atheist. It's cool you worship Jesus; I could really give a hoot. Anyway, I try not to get riled up some of the things here. You have to keep in mind good and bad exists everywhere, especially on the Internet.

He whoeth liveth in glasseth houses-eth shouldn'tst throweth rockeths.....in other words, religion has caused most of the problems of this world....so you can't blame those of us that don't believe in any great sky marshal and associated bugaboos for the hate either here or in the world. It's the religious lemmings who fight over who's god's better than the other that cause most of the trouble on the R/S section as well as the rest of the planet....

It's funny the Buddhists don't have those problems in living a higher moral standard . Maybe it's cause Christians preach hate as well as they preach love .
Buddhists don't add hell fire and damnation to hurt bad people or people they don't like but they don't wage war and kill the opposition either .

First of all we all dont try and follow Christ. People choose to do what they want, and go there own way and thats why theres so much hate in this world

People like to fight...
And they like to feel superior to others who are not like them.
And, respecting someones right to choose, is not the same thing as respecting what they have chosen. The hair splitting can quickly rise from hate the sin & love the sinner to use the sin as a weopon to destroy the sinner.
Or, something like that.

Because people argue over their "Choice". This has little to do with faith...but instead has to do with pride. Religions are made by man, not by God. Only a personal relationship with Him matters....not how you go about acquiring that relationship.

this question gets ask just about every day...... this is a forum to answer questions, from different view points and beliefs.......... Most of what you and others see as hate, is in fact, sarcasm at its best...... and of course there are those who come in here, from all sides, to post trouble making questions, and to puff out their chest and make like Tarzan............... Me right. You wrong. ........and then there are the *children* who think their questions have NEVER been ask before, and that they have this *point* to make that NO ONE else has made ........ go in peace........
