Sorry, but I pick Jesus and Paul.
As for Thomas Jefferson, typical slander from a non Christian.

By what measure do you judge Paul's letters? There is not one word, not one letter, not one comment whereby Paul contradicts any of the Messiah's teachings. Do not forget the Bible of Jesus was the Old Testament. By your standard Jesus would have been considered a heretic for His teachings for certainly many of Jesus teachings would seem to contradict the Old Testament. Assuming Thomas Jefferson actually made the statement you have quoted, he is no scholar regarding the teachings of Paul, much less Jesus.

How about Jesus and Mohammed and Paul were not wrong.

If someone doesn't know the Holy Spirit doesn't mean that they blaspheme the Holy Spirit. There is a difference between a Church's love and God's love.

In Christianity the only eternal sin is blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.

How does the only unforgiveble sin deny knowing the Holy Spirit to Mohammed? It doesn't.

Even a Christian believer cannot be saved if they blaspheme the Holy Spirit. Blasphemers of the Holy Spirit are no different than the Pharisees to Jesus of Nazareth.

In Jesus' lifetime He did not save a single person that didn't need to be saved. The people that He saved were people who were led to believe that they were unworthy of knowing God. He forgave them so they could know God, and He certainly did not have to die for them to know God.

I suggest you stop perpetuating beliefs and know God for sure. It will open your eyes.
God is not a belief.

Nice quote by Jefferson but it has nothing to do with your question.

God is right. God sends prophets. Have you listened?

If you believe that Muhammad is a prophet, you are saying that God got something wrong. He needed to send another prophet to correct an earlier one’s mistake. With all the prophets he sent, none of them correct earlier ones. [I will get to Paul in a minute.]

Let’s talk for a moment about Jesus. All we know about Jesus is in four accounts: Matthew, Mark, Luke (including Acts), and John. That's it. Paul is not an original source as clearly demonstrated in Acts. [More on Paul in a moment] All four accounts describe Jesus life, death, and resurrection. They all agree that Jesus died and God raised him from the dead.

Muhammad claims something different. He claim that Jesus never die, etc. Now we have two version of an event. Which do you believe?

With this mistake that Muhammad made, makes him a false prophet according the books of Moses. So did Moses make a mistake about false prophets? Again what do you believe?

Now back to Paul. What did Paul get wrong? Paul speaks for God and speaks for himself, and you will see this in all of his epistles. Jefferson never showed where Paul was wrong; he only showed that he didn't believe.

For example, the teachings of Jesus are in the four accounts. It is all there, but Rabbi Jesus’ teaching uses the Holy Scriptures. To understand what Jesus is saying, you need to understand the Holy Scriptures. All presented in Greek. This is exactly what Paul’s Epistle to the Hebrew does; Paul show why Jesus is the Jewish Messiah. The remaining Epistles are address to non Jewish. Did Paul get it wrong?

My belief is simple: God got it right the first time. This means the teaching of Jesus is there for all to see. Jesus asked his disciples to teach all nations; Paul did exactly what Jesus asked him to do.

Answer: If scholarship was used, you would have told me every place that Paul got it wrong. Verse by verse. Then I would be happy to explain why you are in error. But even if we did all that exchange, you probably would not believe and I would simply move on.

Hello,

Nonsense in my opinion. Without Paul Christianity would have been a small sect within a 50 mile radius which would have quickly petered out in one generation. If you believe in the religion and biblical events you see that God (Jesus) had enough common sense to see Paul's potential and latch on to him to go out into the Roman Empire and teach the gospel. Paul had great education and speaking abilities and his Roman citizenship certainly saved his life on one occasion.

Jefferson seems to have been a better politician than theologian judging from this particular statement.

Cheers,

Michael Kelly

Another false quote from Thomas Jefferson.

http://etext.lib.virginia.edu/jefferson/

Why people bother posting false quotes like this I will never know. Pick a guy whose writings are not so freely available on the internet. Thomas Jefferson was a prolific writer and everything he wrote is published on the web ON a RELIABLE website someplace.

Yes, both of them were right to teach people what they were taught by God. Both of them preached the same religion of humanity. Because God is one and only one, he also fixed one religion for mankind and sent his messengers to teach mankind that only human religion. From Adam to Muhammad(pbuh) all prophets preached the same human religion Islam and all prophets were Muslims.
Some greedy and egoistic people corrupted teachings of some prophets. Paul is one of that kind and did great damage to humanity.
But, God has given human sufficient intelligence, knowledge and logic unlike other creatures. Now is the time for human to use that intelligence, knowledge and logic to find out the truth. May God enlighten the mankind.

Actually Mohammed contradicted Jesus. Like for example Jesus claimed to be the son of God while Mohammed denied it. For this and other examples of such contradictions see http://www.bcbsr.com/topics/islam.html

And by the way, Paul was an apostle of Jesus Christ and never contradicted anything he said.

i agree the prophets Jesus and Mohammad, as well as every other prophet and messenger (on whom be peace) sent by God Al-Mighty all taught people pure monotheism (Tauhid: the Oneness of God). It is by the hand of people whereby the holy scriptures of Moses and Jesus (on whom be peace) has been altered. The Quran has been sent down as a criterion to judge and correct the mistakes of older scriptures, and it will be protected from alteration and corruption by God until the end of time.

Thomas Jefferson was a product of the age of reason, and he was all over the place when it came to the Bible and Church and Jesus. He had massive struggles with his faith and he does nothing to influence me.

Jimmy Carter has had a public dispute with the Southern Baptist Convention and so it just goes to show that we can all believe what we want and associate with whom we please.
