How possible do you think it is to get a random strange to co-sign a car loan.

A lot of creditors are no longer accepting co-signers. Either you have good credit to get car or your riding your bicycle. Best thing to do is to get a clunker, pay your bills on time and save every penny you can for a down payment. Also wait for one of those "5K trade in for any vehicle" The more money you have for a downpayment the more likely they are going to give you a line of credit.

Co sign means that if you do not pay they will pay it for you. I think you would find it hard to get your own parents to co-sign for you. As far as a stranger they would never be that dumb.

First you would have to find someone stupid enough to do it, yet smart enough to pay his bills and have a good credit rating!

The odds are against you!

Buy a lottery ticket, you have a better chance of winning big than finding a stranger to cosign for more than bubble gum!
