This happened to my niece. I tried to explain to my sister that this girl is like a leper, so what she needs to do is to try and find God.

If she really believes she can be healed from this state, she will be healed from this state.

Most afflictions like this are caused by sins committed while still inside the womb. If she can repent for what she does God will embrace her and make her as human as you or me but if she chooses not to she'll always be like this. God tests every one of us.

Now my sister won't talk to me. Isn't she crazy?

That's just sick. I mean really, truly, pathetically sick.

That someone could even conceive of such a notion - let alone pretend to believe it (and I really hope you're pretending, because if you REALLY believe this, you need more help than I think is humanly available) - is just... sick.

No. Your sister isn't crazy. Think about if that same kind of thing happened to you. If you were born with a disability and someone told you, "you sinned in your mother's womb" or if you had a child and a person told you, "your baby sinned in the womb". The Bible says babies are unable to sin, that they are pure and innocent and that if they die, they go to Heaven. It is only when a person comes to know right and wrong (age of accountability) (babies can't know right from wrong or about anything that is right or wrong) and choose to sin that their soul is in need of God-His grace and forgiveness through Jesus-the sacrifice of Jesus dying for the whole world to save people from their sins.
People do need to find God, I agree. But babies and children are unable to do so. It's like a mother who is a drug addict and/or they get AIDS and the baby that is born is born with the addiction and/or AIDS. The baby did nothing wrong. They weren't the ones taking drugs or having sex with a person afflicted by AIDS or using a shared needle. Even if a baby is born with cerebral palsy or Down Syndrome or some other affliction, they still did nothing wrong or did anything to cause them to be born that way or deserve it.
Please think of what you're saying the next time you say something like that. I understand why your sister won't talk to you. But I also think you weren't trying to be mean to her or insensitive or anything. Just accept the truth and be free, okay?
Also, with your niece being born disabled in body and/or mind, she is still precious and innocent and free from sin. She is still just as precious, important and special in God's eyes as any healthy child. And you can learn from disabled people too. Also, for those who are born with a low IQ, meaning those who live to be adults but still have the mind of a child, they're like children in God's eyes and will be with Him in Heaven because they didn't learn right from wrong and choose to do wrong and remained pure and innocent because of that.

Your the one who is crazy. How can a child sin before being born? A child is innocent and its mind is like a clean sheet of paper waiting for parents to put images and lessons on to it.
Some people are sick because we live in a poluted enviroment and we don't eat right and all sorts of other reasons. God does not ever make babies sick.

not a fact. babies are born with disabilities do to non-disjuction, mutations, and harmful chemicals introduced during the birthing process. for example, if a mother smokes, it poisons or can even mutate the baby in the womb.

the only real sin that causes babies to be problematic is not taking proper care of your body. other than that, bad things just happen.

No she isn't crazy. Defects and disabilities are passed down in the DNA. It has nothing to do with sins. God would not I repeat would not give a baby a genetic defect because the mother has sinned. Her sins are her own.

Jesus said not so:

"As he went along, he saw a man blind from birth. His disciples asked him, "Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?"
"Neither this man nor his parents sinned," said Jesus, "but this happened so that the work of God might be displayed in his life. As long as it is day, we must do the work of him who sent me. Night is coming, when no one can work. While I am in the world, I am the light of the world."
Having said this, he spit on the ground, made some mud with the saliva, and put it on the man's eyes. "Go," he told him, "wash in the Pool of Siloam" (this word means Sent). So the man went and washed, and came home seeing."

you have some serious issues. Perhaps instead of grasping onto a world of make believe long enough to see what's really in front of you, the world would make more sense. You need to learn a bit more about defects and life in general. You are a horrible person.

no, I would not talk to you either... God does not say anything about.. that a baby will have disabilities if you sin while it is inside of her (Bible)... It is God that makes kids like that to open peoples eyes to see him, and God test us, and he promise us to get us through.. But he does not say anything about making her better.. He is a great God, but he has his own will, not your own... He can do what ever he knows best... God does know best about this situation.. it might be hard.. But you can not blame sin, on your sister. .. God has his own Time, and Will...

babies are born with disablelities not bicoz of sin commited by their parents but to show the glory of the lord.they are there for us to proof to the Heavenly father whether we love him or not. God is not visible that we will see him, it's through handicaps that we'll proof to God how much we love him.

Ridiculous. At least your sister's got some sense in her. And by the way, when a person's child is born with a disability, the worst possible thing you could say to them is "God intended it that way".
