Commuting expenses for getting back and forth to work are not deductible on your Federal or Wisconsin return.

Expenses incurred once at work are deductible on Sch A (over 2% of your income) for Federal purposes. Wisc does not offer a deduction for 2% (work & other) expenses.

From the sound of your question it seems that you are asking about commuting costs. Those are NEVER deductible.

If you have to use your car in your work, any use after you arrive at work is deductible if not reimbursed by your employer.
