I used sidestep.com when I was trying to fly from NC to TX around Labor Day. It's like a search engine that searches many different websites, including cheaptickets.com.

A good hint is when you're narrowing your search, do it by cities to find alternate airports, and click on the option to "include nearby airports." Usually they are not that far away, but they are cheaper or less crowded.

i just flew from nc to ny a few weeks ago. travelocity was the cheapest i found and i looked at about all of them lol! also if you are planning on staying in a hotel then you can saveby booking them together, same for rental car. being that it's a holiday, i would start looking now to find the cheapest rates and availability. good luck!

Try www.airfarewatchdog.com. You have to sign up to get alerts on special fares, but its worth it. I've gotten some really great deals on airfares.

Jetblue.com has pretty good deals most of the time, not sure where they fly exactly.

Expedia.com also has good prices.

Good luck and happy travels!!!
