I think I know the situation you are refering to. The news showed a pic of what the young lady was wearing. A little tight , maybe, but not " indecent" . They also showed what the stewardesses wore in the 1970's , which was way more revealing than what the young lady had on.

The same outfit on two different women would get two completely different results. This happened where I worked. The company was a major aerospace company in CA. One day one of the VP's sent a young lady home for the way she was dressed. He said she was dressed more for a party than for the work place. A few days later a different young lady had on the identical dress and nothing was said to her. Young lady #1 had a body that was out of this world. She was fully covered and nothing was showing. Young lady #2 was just kind of average looking. You can guess the rest. Young lady #1 has a lot more $$ in her bank account today.

In reference to the woman in the news recently I think she looked just fine. Now if she was a two hundred pound woman of color, do you think this would have happened? NO...

I think is indecent to wear flip flops on a plane. I dont want to see or smell a strangers feet. Also when girls wear low waist jeans and they let their G-string or Thong show above the pants. Its indecent to show any kind of under garment.

Since the pictures shown were the woman sitting in her chair at home or standing, we'll never know what prompted the airline attendant to object. My guess was when they asked her to pull down her skirt and pull up her top, she was showing bare skin. She might work at Hooters but the airline is not her place of business so letting it all hang out is not acceptable.

the girl on the southwest flight was so not indecent, but she should have respected the decision of the other passengers and flight attendants to dress nicer

Anything that is too revealing. The wearer shouldn't present to other people glimpses of things they do not want to see, or have their children see.

Something that looks like it should be worn in the bedroom rather than in public.

If you have to ask the question, then my guess is that whatever you wore or are planning to wear you probably shouldn't.

if i could purposely or accidentally see something bare that is normally covered by an undergarment (bra, panties, briefs), then it is indecent.
