No that's not normal at all. I think the woman should not tolerate any form of jealousy in their boyfriend. If she is talking to a guy "friend," who cares? The jealous guys is acting totally insecure and fears losing her. If the two completely trust each other, then there should be no problem. Some women, however, think that when their boyfriend becomes jealous of her, it's only a sign of how much he really loves her. Not true at all. This is rooted in fear, not love.

My husband has never really seemed to care when I have shown any ounce of jealousy, if anything I think he enjoys it. He says he loves the fact that I want him all for myself. Besides, he gets jealous WAY more than I do. If it's INSANE jealousy, than I could understand why men would hate it. Some girls go a little nuts with that stuff. Maybe it's just the guys you know?

If a guy gets jealous because a [platonic] male friend talked to his girlfriend then it's not ok.
However, if some guy is really trying to get with a taken girl then the boyfriend has every right to be jealous.

Jealousy is the worst negative emotion. No one likes to be jealous and no one likes people to be jealous of them. The antithesis of jealousy is self confidence. A person can only have self confidence if trust has been established. True story of mine: I was a high school senior and had a boyfriend of 2 years. He wanted me to get engaged but that would mean I would have to resign my cheerleader year. It creeped me out that he was so possessive - so I broke up with him. He immediately cheated on me so I made the right decision.
On a lighter note, keep in mind that people play games and may try to MAKE you jealous. Try to find a sincere person to spend your time with. I wish you the best.

I wish I had a boyfriend who got jealous, but it all depends on the situation and body language. I would talk to your girlfriend and tell her how you feel. Open honest communication is the only way to go. Good Luck. Live Life to the Fullest and Enjoy Every Minute Of It.....

Sometimes it does but just as long as it doesn't come to the point to controling. I don't mind it when a man gets a little jealous because it shows that he loves you to me. But if it gets out of hand then yes it is very annoying and bother some

I don't find jealousy an appealing quality at all. It shows insecurity and lack of trust on the part of the jealous person...not characteristics that bode well for a relationship.

Pretending to be jealous is OK. Actually being jealous is not. Jealousy never improved any relationship.
