I grew up in Fundamentalism sincerely. I never looked down on anyone but wished the best for everyone. I did however, notice that a handful of people loudly and foolishly broadcast their views in a hateful, one-sided way. I never understood their intentions but like so many other quiet but high standard people, I felt sorry for them and the people who had to hear their poppycock. You can live a decent life without trying to force your views on others. If people like what they see, they will ask questions and raise their standards. It is as simple as that.

yikes!! I am a bible-fundamentalist and if you find hate and lies in my answers, please let me know! (I don't think you will!)
I think you are showing prejudice (judging many by the actions of a few)..... there are many Christians on R & S that answer with great kindness and gentleness...sure, there are a few bad apples in every barrel but i think you could say that about any group.....
But you right - for a Christian to be accused of hatred and lies is a very serious accusation and it shames the name of Christ....
god bless

I consider myself a Charasmatic, which you would call a fundamentalist. I havent seen hate and lies. We speak out in truth and love. We wont just sit back and watch someone going down a road that will lead them to hell and say nothing. We know that it is our responsibility to share the Gospel with them.

No, "wolf in sheep's clothing" would imply that they have some kind of illusion of attractiveness or innocence on the outside. They don't.
Well, unless you count those evangelical sessions disguised as some secular event like "free pizza party" where they give you "free" stuff but then force you to sit through some indoctrination session.

Is it hatred to tell people the truth, that they need to accept the provision of a loving God in order to avoid the eternal torment of hell?
I agree that hell is a very unpleasant concept, but I didn't invent it, and ignoring it won't make it go away. Is it loving to let people go to their death without speaking out to try to save them?
God loves you, but He won't force you to be in relationship with Him if you choose not to be. Hell is the absence of the Presence of God in eternity.
