I think you just like escaping from reality by just passing it off as "god did it" or "god is in control" to make yourself feel better, rather than understanding the situation and forming a real explaination and trying to actually solve it. But as they say, "Ignorance is bliss".

I have hope that there are sufficient numbers of people in the world who have rejected the mind-numbing stupidity of blind faith in ridiculous superstitions and fantastic super-beings, such as god. I have hope that there are a sufficient number of these intelligent, well-educated, and rational people to save this world from the brink to which we have driven it.
THERE IS NO GOD.
THERE IS NO JESUS.
THERE IS NO HOLY SPIRIT.

I find hope that life will get better because I take steps to improve my life. If somethings is causes me to thing life isn't worth living I try to fix it.

Personal effort to make it better. Praying is nice, but honestly, a pray does nothing if you don't also get off your behind and make things happen in your life.
