I am sorry if people were tough on you.
Maybe if I explain it, you will understand. Many of us work with shelters or rescue organizations. We know what the stats are on our shelters and how many HEALTHY puppies and dogs are put down each year. (In my county, on an average, 1 dog for about every 15 adults ends up in the pounds. About 40 percent of these are put down!)
When we hear of someone who has a pregnant dog that did little if any research, and no proper testing on the parents (hips, knees, elbows, genetic defects, etc) then we worry. Many people (not necessarily you) just have puppies and then sell them for quick money. They treat them like their own personal ATM machines. Again, I am not saying this is you!!! Just look at a lot of these breeding questions in here. Many people are intentionally breeding mixed breed pups, and there are literally thousands of mixes in shelters across the country. (Just look at petfinder.com one day.) Many people have no concept of the breeding cycle, pregnancy cycle, whelping cycle, and then raising of the pups.
Since you are 14 days into the about 63 days of this, you need to find a breeder quick that can walk you through what you need to prepare for. There are so many things that can and do go wrong. Puppies get stuck during whelping, b*tchs don't pass the after birth, they sometimes will not feed their pups, regularly you deal with fading puppy syndrome, etc. Please do this. Maybe when you take her to the vet, they can direct you to a breeder.
Oh, and to answer your question, the visit should cost around $40 or so. Good luck!

for this visit your looking at anythign from $30-$60, then in another week or so your looking at an xray visit to determin how many and how big they are, so thats another $100-$250, then a couple weeks later a wellness check with another x-ray/ultrasound at another $100-$300 to ensure the puppies are properly formed and lining up properly...
then you might want to also have set aside about $2000 incase an emergency comes up and your female has difficulties...
after the birthing process within 3 days you need ot take mommy and all the puppies to the vets for a wellness check and dewclaw removal, your looking at another $100-$250 there...then at the age of 6 weeks (assuming all else goes right betwen now and then) you have to take all the puppies in for their first series of puppy shots $50-$150 and then again at 8 weeks for set 2 $50-$150, the puppies should NOT be rehomed untill at least 8 weeks of age...
so good luck, welcome to the world of breeding, as you can see its NOT cheap!

I'm sorry some people can be rude.
The cost depends on y9our vet and where you live .
I read the answers before moine and those vets are extremely cheap.
My vet charges $65 office visit and then $150 for sonogram and $125 for x-rays.
Now if I understand your dog is probably preagnant and is it that she is only 2 weeks along or does she only have two weeks before she delivers.
It is best to take her in when she is about 4-5 weeks along.
Also talk to the vet about wormings it's best to start to worm the pps when they are 2 weeks old and every ohter week along with mom and they should start their shots between 6-8 weeks old but they shoud stay withthe mother until they are 8 weeks old.
Good Luck

Seems to me you should have found out about the cost and what is involved in having and raising a litter of puppies before you mated your dog ,Because you love animals that is not a good enough reason to breed.I dont think people are
necessarily mean just concerned about indiscriminate breeding that s not thought out , planned and the various checks carried out before the event takes place/

Well call your vet and ask what a pergnancy visit cost. It should not be any more than a regular visit. About 45 to 50 dollars this way you will know how many pups she will be having and be much better prepaired when it comes time for her to whelp them. Your vet should be your best friend now.

That was the longest sentence I have ever seen (not to mention the poor spelling). WOW! And you want to be a zoologist, huh?
EDIT:
Don't apologize for me there Kit-Kat. I was just being honest. There is NO WAY this person should be breeding a dog.
