Peace be upon you =)
I think your question is too vague, or perhaps too broad. We pray 5 times a day, eat meat prepared in a certain way, and somethings are we are forbidden to eat. Our dress code is simple, something that is modest, and covers up (for both men and women but with some differences as the genders are different). Other customs are many as well, upon meaning a Muslim instead of "hi" or "hello" we will say "Assalam-alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatahu" and "Walaikum Assalam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatahu " though these are abridged somewhat often.
We have 5 daily prayers, but this prayer is salah. Another type of prayer which is dua, which resembles the typical scene of a person offering prayers at bedtime (in western/christian world). This prayer can be offerered freely. Even among our Salah there are extra prayers which are offered for more blessings, or when someone is in hardship, and other situations too.

A typical Muslim’s day starts by waking up to pray the fajr (dawn) prayers. After that they can start their day or go to sleep for a while before staring their day.
We have to pray 5 different times in a day, it doesn’t affect us, it jut means we have a reserved time for each part of the day to remember God.
Out and about in our daily working live we have to try and avoid eating any thing that is not permitted i.e. meat which doesn’t come from a a halaal butcher.
The only nuisance here is checking ingredients in every little thing like a snack bar or a chocolate to see if it has any ingredients that we are not permitted to eat. A common ingredient is gelatine which is found in jams and other household foods.
Most foods labelled as suitable for vegetarians we normal consider safe to eat.
With regard to customs, every Muslim is obviously meant to behave themselves while out and about, greet fellow Muslims and generally be conscious of good manners.
Dress sense for women means that for those of that have any decency left, we should try and dress as covered as possible. Not every Muslim woman wears the long black coat that covers her whole body, i just wear the head scarf and dress decently with a normal top and jeans. I dont wear traditional Indian/pakistani clothes that you would find most people wearing in southall.
Normal everyday life doesn’t have to affect any muslim person, we just work our way around what is permissible and what isn't.
Islam when understood correctly is a sensible religion, it guides us through every aspect of our life, through everyday life to marriage and much more.
Most important thing for a Muslim to remember throughout their life is their religion, which mustn’t be taken in personal terms as extremists have done, but in the way in which Allah intended for it to be seen and followed; in its purest form Islam is a peaceful religion.

We live our life around the 5 prayers and going to the Masjid on a daily basis.
Islam is the very foundation of our daily routine.

Everyday islam affects my life. Everyday I read a news story of a muslim killing in the name of god. Very depressing, everyday, everyday, always, never changing.
