What is the difference between hunting humans and hunting animals? The difference is... Murder.
And don't bother coming back with the asinine response 'hunting animals IS murder' without first looking up the definition for the word "murder." Even when an animal hunts and kills men (Ex. The Maneaters of Tsavo), that is NOT murder; that is being at the bottom of the food chain. Only when a human kills another human being is it homicide.
When a human kill an animal that is never homicide. Again, if you have to ask, then look up the definitions.

For starters,
Hunting humans is illegal.
Here's a better question.
Q: Whats the difference between eating meat from a legally harvested deer and eating meat from a grocery store?
A: The meat from the grocery store came from an animal that never knew freedom. It was born to be slaughtered. All it's fellows will share its fate at the slaughterhouse. There is no escaping their destiny. They will be restrained and killed by a man who is simply running a cow-killing assembly line.
The Meat from the deer is from an animal that knew freedom, and had a chance to run free, reproduce, and live a good life in a managed population of animals, most of which will never encounter a hunter. It did encounter a hunter, and was unable to get away this time, -but the chance existed that it COULD have gotten away if things had been a bit different. The hunter who killed it respected it, and will utilize it to nourish his family. The circle of life continues.

I knew the answer to this when I was about 5, so I'll try and put it into real simple terms so that maybe you can understand and share the answer with your special ed class tomorrow, OK?.
Humans are the dominate species on the planet earth.
This means that we are superior to all other species and they in turn are subjects to our dominion. This is not arrogant or obnoxious, it's just the facts as nature prescribes.
Denying that dominance does not make it any less so, it just makes the denier a fool unwilling to see the clear light of day.
We are so far advanced in most areas compared to other species, that the probability of mere natural evolution is remote and the intervention of some higher being is very likely. As a rational and educated modern man, the more I see and learn the more the evidence points in this direction.
Most importantly, humans are the only species with the complex reasoning capabilities to contemplate complex ideas and concepts......for example this question.
Nature, or whoever, gave mankind dominion over the animals and the fishes and the plants simply by the presence or our species.
Now, that dominion means that we can use the other species to suit our needs and purposes, but it also carries a great responsibility to all species and to future humans to serve as good stewards of the planet, to protect those in danger and to limit those that may overpopulate left to their own.
Nature, in it's infinite wisdom, also made man an Omnivore, which means he consumes for food all the other species as they are healthy, which has likely added to our growth and survival and certainly added to our dominance as a species.
There have been some societies who spurn the eating of animal flesh and deny this source of food to their members, however those societies usually wind up plowing the fields of the superior cultures that do eat meat.
Because we are 'special', for want of another word, it's always been a taboo in human cultures to kill your own kind, so the hunting of other humans is typically forbidden unless they are criminals or some other deviant.

Hunting animals for sport and hopefully food.
Legal in all 50 states.
Hunting humans is something only the military, law enforcement, or the horribly wronged should ever consider!!
I will not explain the psychological difference between killing an animal and a human.
You may want to know, but, I assure you,
you do not want to know!!
This is not something easily or casually shared.
I hope you never personally learn the difference!!

Animals don't shoot back. You don't have to clean and cut up humans for the freezer. For animals you need a license, if you play your cards right you get paid to hunt humans. If you went hunting for osama bin laden the payoff would be what?; ten million dollars in gold? It is some ungodly amount like that. But in his videos and pictures he always has an AK47 or AK74 close at hand; so be careful, as Elmer Fudd says.

This is quite simple. Hunting Humans will get you a dance with a needle and then your life ends. Hunting animals has been done for survival for many years for the humans. As well once the growth population of humans has continued the need to control the population of specific species has become necessary. Please just be happy you were born a human and not an animal. I hope this helps.

2. Animals taste better.
3. PETA doesn't like it when you hunt animals, but is pretty ok with the human thing.
4. Humans can shoot back.

Hunting humans if and when necessary is far easier than Hunting any other animal on Planet Earth. Man has become to domesticated and has lost or dulled his natural savage instincts in regards to his original nature as a predator fully capable of returning to what he was once before when he was fully wild and untamed.* A true creature and truly wild as he once was before evolving into what he has become today.* There truly is no comparison between what he use to be, and what he has become today.*

As taught in the military humans can be easier to hunt. Most humans feel safe in their environment and therefore do not look for danger and are prone to developing habits. Animals are always on alert and have better senses of smell, hearing and in many cases vision. Animals live their lives one mistake from death. Humans blunder through life not really looking. It is a rare human who is aware of what is going on around them.
