Like is it your entire life? Any other interesting things I would love to know because I am currently debating about my religion and would love someone to talk to about their religion also.
If you have time to email me about your religion with questions I may have in addition to answreing here, pleasseeee leave your email address!!!!
Thanks

I am a Taoist. No, there is no life after death in Taoism, and no there is no God, per se. It's more like a philosophy to live your life by. Non-action, understanding causality, living simply and avoiding wants and contriving are the center themes of Taoism.

Yay, somebody gave me a thumbs down for not believing in the same thing they do. I won't guess at who, but.. imagine that, somebody was that worked up about my beliefs that they pressed the thumbs down key. You know who you are, you should be pretty embarrassed of yourself.

I consider myself a Christian, and while I always come on here and speak about Christianity, I honestly feel I have a very, very weak relationship with God. He used to be my life until I took a very wrong turn. I would speak to Him almost every moment of the day, I'd be walking in the hallway and almost like a natural thing I'd just talk to Him. It wasn't exactly praying, but just talking, thanking Him. Lately, I've been getting closer, slowly, but I'm still working on it. I can see that God has blessed my family, my brother is going to a great college playing soccer, I have lots of friends (after some hard times), and I'm getting into a youth group now, and I'm starting to feel a little more than useless. I don't exactly call this a religion, but more of a way of life. And not one filled with rules, and laws, but one with a feeling of purpose which is something I haven't felt in a while. I could go on all day. :)

Well, even though I don't have one and am not religious, I thought it'd be fun to answer this question. To me, I feel that ALL religions are "real", because so long as people are believing in them, and continue to, nothing can diminish that idea or faith. In the ancient times, religion was probably formed mainly to explain occurances and now, we have science, so I see it as a crutch in your life, like a spiritual guidance helping you along.

*I have studied Buddhism, though it was more the way of thinking than the religion itself. I found it really interesting in relation to life (the most fascinating was the idea of pain. As I was running the other day, I kept thinking and convincing myself that it wasn't there and that I was good enough to run some more. And it worked too, for the most part).

I am sad to say at this point in my life I am of no religion. Its not that I do not want to be, but I have just not found one that does not have some type of start that was good. I have also been on a search. Its hard, every one likes to say this or that. But I like to look at there works not just words. I think some times that I stumble my self. Ask to many things. Expect perfection from a imperfect world. But I do know one thing, I stopped attending meetings about 16 weeks ago. I find that my life is much worse. I am starting to act in a way that is not me. I do not read the bible as much and I do not pray that much. I hate myself for this. In my heart I no that it is wrong. I'm just lost now. I know that this wasn't much help. I'm sorry for that..

technically Christian, literally not attatched to the term

the Holy Spirit

"your religions"? I'd need one for that to work. how do I feel about Christianity? lots of problems, too much interpretation of Scripture, too much liberalism in some areas, kinda hard but enjoyable. about religion in general? obsequiousness and fear aren't good motivations.

"how attatched you are to it"? willfully joint, basically imbedded. yes, it's my life.

I can't lick my elbow. interesting enough? or do you mean about Christianity? in that case, it's the only "relationship with God", it's the most criticized yet has the most adherants, has the most stereotypes placed on it and is often misrepresented. I like challanges, but that's not my motive.

I am a Christian because ever since I gave my life to him, 5 years ago, I really feel like I have a better life. I'm not saying that nothing ever bad happens to me, people make fun of me for being Christian, but I am above it all. I hope you become a Christian so I can see you in heaven. Heaven is better then you can imagine. Hell is worse than you can imagine. To learn more about this great religion, buy a bible and read it. When you read tis book, you instantly feel calm, even if you don't understand it. Pray to Jesus like this :

Dear God:
I know that I'm a sinner. I deserve Hell. But You sent Jesus to die for my sins. I believe that He died and rose again. I ask you now to forgive my sins, once an for all. I now receive Jesus Christ as my Lord and Personal Savior. Please come into my heart and save me, Help me to know I am saved and live for You, the rest of my life. In Jesus' Name I pray, Amen.

Let Him take control of your life. You won't be disappointed.

I'm praying for you.

I am Wiccan. I was raised Wiccan and it is beautiful, spiritual, and magickal. Wicca allows me to be who I truly am with out regret, fear or judgment. The only person to blame for my mistakes and actions is me , there are no cop outs of an evil entity or evil persuasion.

Wicca is a way of life as well as a religion. It involves tolerance love compassion and taking the knowledge that you gain in your studies and applying to your everyday life.

Wicca is also not for everyone. It is a lifetime of dedication and learning to constantly better yourself and your life.

Also, instead of just a god there is also the goddess who is just as important, like balance of male and female, good and evil, etc.

I would never trade religions, this is me.

I don't have a religion. However I do believe in G-d and a fast during the holy months. I like to study religion more than really consider myself a certain religion.

Religion: Christianity
Denomination: Mormonism
Sect: the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

My sect places a lot of emphasis that we need to live our religion every day. This does not mean we have to wear shirts and ties and carry our Scriptures everywhere, but we should have integrity (don't cheat our bosses out of a full-day's work, don't use profanity, etc).
