I am in college right now. I am just starting my Junior year. I am really interested in seeking something in the military, or uniformed services after school. I know whatever I choose is up to me in the end. I am just seeking some advice, and experience fron everywhere. I was majoring in law enforcement. I like the aspect of how law enforcement helps people. I really just feel though it is not for me. What I am interested in is helping out people animals. Working with people. Making a difference to someone. Also giving back to my country. I don't want to do anything with using force, or lethal force. My two weakest subjects are math, and science. Thanks for any advice, and listening to this long story.

The FBI is "investigative" not a police agency and always looking for people with degree's in Accounting, Law and Computer Geeks are very welcome as are those with Criminal Justice Training. A few years in the military could take care of your loans unless you don't have any. Were you to be commissioned that is a big plus on a resume.

SSG US Army 73-82
Banking Security Vendor 79-2000
Was once assigned to the FBI to help with video equipment used on a case. Many of the Bank Security Directors were retired FBI, DEA or PD Detectives. Learned a little from them.

The army offers veterinary medicine, so you can work with animals. Right now your said your persuing law enforcement you could join the miltary police altho I wouldnt suggest that if your dont really like brut force.
And dont panic, just joining and caring is certainly doing something for your country!
