The earth came from pre-existing materials

-In a scientific point of view: NO, because the earth formed naturally without the aid of any supernatural being.
-In a deistic point of view: God created the pre-existing materials along with the physical laws and then allowed the natural laws to do the rest of the job. So god indirectly created the earth
-in a philosophical point of view: We can't tell yet. Maybe he did or maybe no one did.

it incredibly is a valid question. And once you initiate off thinking approximately what or who made God you wind up in a limiteless regress which shows which you're coping with nonsense. besides the undeniable fact that, Christians stay clean of this question by asserting that God replaced into continuously. nicely, in the event that they are in a position to declare that we are in a position to in basic terms as easily say that potential replaced into continuously in some shape or kind. there isn't any longer something in this universe that evidences God. If there's a god there is not any observable result. it is meaningless for us. Now, right it incredibly is something else which you will contemplate. The universe by definition is each and every thing. God supposedly exists outdoors the universe. outdoors of each and every thing isn't something. God isn't something.

I believe it because I know God - He totally changed my life by causing me to be born again over 36 years ago - and because He states plainly that He (the God of the Bible) is Creator of the heavens and the earth.
However if you are looking for a more scientific approach, I highly recommend you browse the website of Christian astrophysicist Hugh Ross who has devoted his life to researching this subject from the perspective of a scientist:

Maybe he felt lonely, since he's meant to have been around for all eternity & everything else is apparently only 6000 years old.

Eternity minus 6000 years still looks like a long time.

Zeus sneezed out the universe. It wasn't purely an accident because Thor brought some flowers to him to which he was allergic to.
