PLEASE i NEED ANSWERS! WHY WHEN MY OTHER DOCTOR SAID YES AND GAVE ME THE BLOOD RESULTS,BUT NEW DOCTOR SAYS NO! SHOULD I GET NEW DOCTOR OR ASK TO SEE A SPECIALIST?

Yes blood work and for R.H factor. And Im in pain and have been for years! and I know I have it cause I had blood work done.

sir what do you mean by positive ?
do you mean the RHEUMATOID FACTOR ?
if you mean that ,this factor is only positive in 80% of rheumatoid patients ,and studies advice to use it as a guide for prognsis not for diagnosis .
RA is diagnosed based on a group of criteria that should be present .
i advice you to see an orthopidist ,be well..

Did you go to the Dr. because you thought you had rheumatoid arthritis? Did you go for another reason? Why did
you go to another Dr? If you went thinking you had the disease the Dr may have just agreed with you. Did you tell the new Dr about previous Drs assessment? It would probably satisfy your mind if you went to a rheumatologist. My sister's friend has rheumatoid and she is so crippled she can't walk but a few feet and she is in a lot of pain. If she had
gone to the Rheumatologist he said , he could have helped her a lot. She is 45 years old! There are medications that halts the progress of the disease. I wish you good luck.
