My daughter took some pictures and we noticed she didn't set the correct date on them. Is there a way to correct the date already stamped on digital pictures? I have adobe photoshop elements 4.0 and coral paintshop pro . Anyone know how to do this ? And what program if any I could use to correct this ?

None of the programs you mention will edit the date.
You will have to search for a third party software to edit the EXIF data. It is not easy to find since most people would not want the date to be able to be changed.
Using these programs is tricky business as it often makes the file unreadable by other programs.
Suggest you just leave the dates the way they are and teach everyone using the camera how to set the correct date.
