I was fired for threating a coworker when she was at my house and she went to work and told the supervisor. They fired me. Me and the coworker were lovers. But anyway if an employer finds out I was terminated will that keep me from getting a job?

There is no way for an employer to contact your past employer without permission. I've been fired twice and on my applications I check "do not contact this employer" and legally they cant.

Your employer can not talk about that. If you find out that they did you can go to the labor dept. About all they can say is hire and fire dates and salery I believe.
