Im just wondering is summer really over?
This weekend its suppose to go down to 16 DEGREEZ!
and can someone tell me when the leaves start changing color? because all the leaves are still green

Summer ends September 21. Everywhere there is freaky weather. It is the El Nino effect - just a cycle in a long history of cycles.

I think it ends officially on the 21st, whenever it is that the sun is directly over the equator and going south for 3 months. You can check it easily enough. I just noticed one of our trees is starting to change color already...dammit

Sorry, dig out the fleece, it's all downhill from here for a bit. The leaves are already dropping round my way, make a nice crunchy noise when you go for a walk, though.

The first day of Fall is Sept. 23 so it's still summer officially.

echinically yes as far as school goes....and im PRETTY SURE as far as the calendar goes(99.99% sure) that its over tgere too. Geez where do u live cuz its BLAZING where I am.
