What does Ashley mean in English ?
As the others say, there isn't a standard equivalent.
Ash (tree) is fresno in Spanish, so possible something derived from that.

I have to disagree with the first answerer. I believe it is spanish origin and not native American. "Quien Sabe" is a spanish expression for "who knows". "Kemosabe" means "all knowing" or "wise one". Then there was an old country song with the line "The Lone Ranger shot old Tonto so it seems, he finally found out what "Kemosabe" means!"
