what does r/o cancer means? and fibro cystic? thanks.

R/O stands for rule out and fibrocystic is benign(non cancerous) knots in the breast usually due to caffenine they can make your breast really sore. I have had them before. you just bascially cut back on colas,chocolate, and most caff. and they usually disappear on their own.

It means they want to rule out cancer and fibro cysts so they are testing to see what your problem actually is

Well, specifically it means rule out. So they are checking if there is cancer or not or if it is some type of cyst.
