Tomorrow I have an interview with a celebrity actor to be their personal assistant. Should I hide the fact that I'm pursuing acting as a career and that I have an agent and have experience and am a member of the Screen Actor's Guild and that I go on auditions or is it ok that I reveal this info as long as I make it clear that I'm not looking to be discovered while working for them, I'm just there to soak up the knowledge and gain experience. Or should I just hide the fact I'm an actor and say that I'm unsure what I want to do in the entertainment industry but I have many interests acting, producing, directing...

I suggest you play safe.. Just keep those to yourself.. Present yourself to apply merely as assistant .. that's all!

Coz revealing your interests in acting is not relevant to what they are looking for.. Perhaps when you are already hired and have already establish rapport with the celeb, then you can talk about your dreams when you get the chance.. But you should prove yourself first worthy of being an assistant then they will surely recommend you :)

Wish you luck!!

PS. If you dont mind, Im curious who this celeb you'll work for..?

I would bring it up if They ask about it .
Otherwise , focus on your skills as a P A ,
And what you bring to the table for that .
You would be paid for those skills , not acting .

Also, you rambling on about your acting career ,
Would suggest that your focus as a PA might be lacking .
Remember , they want PA , Not another actor .
Acknowledge it if asked , Do Not dwell on it .
