Catholic Church teaches:

All forms of divination are to be rejected: recourse to Satan or demons, conjuring up the dead or other practices falsely supposed to "unveil" the future.

Consulting horoscopes, astrology, palm reading, interpretation of omens and lots, the phenomena of clairvoyance, and recourse to mediums all conceal a desire for power over time, history, and, in the last analysis, other human beings, as well as a wish to conciliate hidden powers.

They contradict the honor, respect, and loving fear that we owe to God alone.

For more information, see the Catechism of the Catholic Church, section 2116: http://www.nccbuscc.org/catechism/text/pt3sect2chpt1.htm#2116

With love in Christ.

OK, with all due respect. I typically wouldn't respond to something in this section. Respectfully, because of the way "they" sometimes go after atheists. I AM NOT IN THAT. Back to the subject. Quiji boards were first distributed by Parker, as a board game, for entertainment, and make Parker alot of money. At the time, they didn't realize the actual potential of the "Game". You don't have to limit to just Catholics. It's a dangerous door, to the other side. I wouldn't go near one. I've, in the past, tried it, by myself. It was the same, as two people using it. NOT everyone gets this result. Disrespecting it, and playing with it, can net bad things. Peace. I still always monitor this catagory. Peace. Dennis B.

purely via watching Protestants solutions, no, they could no longer, have you ever observed how little know-how of the Bible they have. no longer bragging, yet have faith i could guard my faith against a knowledgeable catholic, alongside with all of my Brother & Sisters, via fact we ensue to be Jehovah's Witnesses & each and each year there are greater Catholics that improve into Witnesses than from the different faith. fairly you're actually not asserting you could guard your faith in accordance with biblical and historic documents from the church fathers. your guy or woman literature or books state that there is not any: Purgatory, no trinity, that God's call is Jehovah, the church burned human beings on a stake via fact they disagreed with the church or printed yet another translation of the Bible, etc, etc,. Even the Popes cousin is a Jehovah's Witnesses.

It's against Godly standards period to play with ouiji boards. I don't know what the Catholics believe, really. They are always changing and into so much rotgut.

Read Deuteronomy 19:26
"YOU must eat nothing along with blood. ‘YOU must not look for omens, and YOU must not practice magic'.

Read Leviticus 18: 10 - 12
There should not be found in you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, anyone who employs divination, a practicer of magic or anyone who looks for omens or a sorcerer, or one who binds others with a spell or anyone who consults a spirit medium or a professional foreteller of events or anyone who inquires of the dead. For everybody doing these things is something detestable to God.

It is against almost all religions to interact with any kind of spirits or to go to a psychic and ask about your future. This shows a lack of faith in g_d.

It is against most faiths. Ouija boards act as "portals" into places not meant to connect with this world. What ever you bring over when you use one isn't what you call, but sent over by Lucifer to do what ever destruction(Physical,Mental and Spiritual) it can get away with until it is sent back.

This is considered by Christians to be a form of sorcery, as is fortune telling and false prophets, even those in Arabia and other regions.

It's not just the Catholic's, it's all faiths. Your inviting Satan into your life. Bad idea. Stay away from them.
