Im 14 and my boyfriend will be 17 on the 19th. We have been together for almost 2 years, and we have gotten through a lot together. For a while I thought that we would probably have to break up, because we were fighting quite a bit and stuff. Then, we took a break and it only lasted like 2 days. We talked everything over and we have been doing really good ever since then. We are really close and stuff, and after all that it would be really weird for us to break up...I mean we know everything about each other, and my parents like him and his parents like me, everything is great. So how long do u think that we could last honestly? I love him to death, and I know that he cares about me a lot.

There's no way to predict what the future holds. I would definitely enjoy being together and not worry about how long it will last. It could last forever or today could be the end of it.
The real test in a relationship, where there is an age difference, comes after one of them gets out of high school and the other is still in high school. Just don't make the mistake of thinking you will lose him then, and try to have a baby and get married. True love will last.

I think as long as you two love each other it could last a long time. I got with my man when I was 14 and he was 17 now we've been together for 14 years.

to tell you the honset truth...no one can tell you the exact amount of time cuz only time will tell. if you treat eachother with respect that both of you diserve and whenever there is a problem dont yell at eachother just try to explain yourself then listen to his side and the way he sees it and talk it through...yelling doesnt solve anything...you guys did the right thing to talk things over....and if talking doesn work then walk out of the room(before you do anything you regret) and take a breather...then when you have both cooled off then try talking things through again...but it sounds like you guys are stickn together! good luck! I think it will last forever. I mean yall took a break and it lasted 2 days...yall cant live without each other. Hold on to your man, you have a great thing!!!
