Tips for managing your stress
There are a variety of ways to deal with unhealthy stress in your life. Below are some tips that can be adapted to a variety of situations---school, work, family, relationships.

Manage Your Time Effectively -Keep a to do list or daily planner and make sure to include time for yourself and time for stress reduction activities. Give priority to the most important activities and do those first.

Get Some Exercise-Regular physical activity is one of the best ways to deal with stress. It releases endorphins and gives you a natural “high.”

Avoid Using Drugs or Alcohol to Deal with your Stress-These things will only mask the symptoms of stress and when you stop using them, the stress will return.

Take a Break-Schedule several short breaks throughout the day to help minimize your stress. Get up and stretch, go for a walk, call a friend. When you return to your work, you’ll work more efficiently.

Minimize Interruptions-When you have something important to get done, make sure to block off a period of time when you can work without being disturbed or distracted. Put your phone on voice mail, shut your door, or go someplace to work where no one can find you.

Eat Healthy Foods-Avoid foods high in fat, sugar and sodium. If you are going to be out all day, make sure to pack healthy snacks and don’t skip meals because this will lower your energy levels.

Practice Daily Relaxation Exercises-Good ones include deep breathing, progressive muscle relaxation, and visualization (imaging a relaxing scene).

Think Positive and Learn to Control Worry-Instead of focusing on negative thoughts, focus on the positive things in your life and say to yourself at least one positive thought each day. Don’t waste your time worrying about things you can’t change or always planning for the worst.

Know When You Need Help and Get It-Seeking help is not a sign of weakness. There are many resources available to help students deal with stress and problems, so take advantage of them.

Learn to Say NO- Don’t feel guilty when you have to tell others no. Taking on additional projects or work for others when you are busy will only cause you more stress.

Put Stressful Situations in Perspective-Will it matter a month from now? What about a year from now?

Get Enough Sleep- Most people need between 6-9 hours, but most people give up sleep when they’re under stress to finish more work.

You have to start exercising if you're not already, and begin looking into meditation. Both can do a lot for the mind and body, making you healthier and less stressed out.

Too bad you're only 12. That sucks to be stressed out so young. It only gets worse.

Look up Loa Tzu, you may like that. He's a philosopher of Taoism. That's the Chinese religion with the yin and yang. Bruce Lee was into that and used it in his life.

You are in an age group which has to deal with a lot of stress. Finding an adult you trust (teacher, parent, relative, minister, doctor, coach) will greatly help to reduce stress. Headaches are one of the primary symptoms one experiences with stress. Don't just wait for them to go away... talk with someone about them. A school counselor or nurse might be a good person to talk with. Good luck.

Drink alot of water-this will just make you feel healthier and probably eliminate some of the headaches.

Keep your school stuff and room organized.

Do stuff ON TIME or early.

Exercise or hit something(like a tree).

Find a hobby.

Listen to music whether it's smooth or hard rock.

When your alone enough to make sure nobody calls the cops, scream as loud as you can for as long as you want about your stress.---This is my favorite and works pretty darn well!!!

You are far too yung to start relying on tablets.

You are worrying far too much about things. Is it school or your family or both that are stressing you.
If itis school or schoolwork you need to talk to your parents and teachers so they can help you to cope, either by reducing your workload or extra tuition to help you with difficulties. or bullying - whatevr.
If it is family life you need to discuss this with someone also.Perhaps your favourite teacher.or year head.
get plenty of exercise, play sports with your friends, take time out to have a laugh and enjoy yourself.
get a book on yoga and practice relaxing before you go to bed.

Physical exercise always helps. Also realize that it is the hormones causing the majority of the stress and it is perfectly normal for your age. You can also learn and practice relaxation and breathing techniques to help.

Its very easy to focus on the negatives in life. You will need to focus on positive thoughts.
Negative thoughts can cause muscles in the face & neck to become tense because of stress & cause headaches.

Just going through puberty? Relax, in a short time you'll find plenty to distract and amuse you.
