Thanks for the opportunity.
God, thank You for families - For our parents, grandparents, our children and our grandchildren. You love us so much that You have made us a part of Your family. That's awesome, God! Help us to learn to deal with problems we face in a way that is not destructive. Give us patience with one another and teach us how to prefer others before ourselves. Teach us, God, to be forgiving when members of our own household are not acting as You would have them to act and remind us of our own failings also. Thank You, LORD, that You hear our prayers and that You answer when we call upon You. Teach us to be more like You when it comes to our level of patience.
Let peace reign in our homes, Father.
I ask these things in the power of the name of Your own Son, Jesus Christ.

Ummm.. Or you could do something about it. That's the problem with the world, instead of saying, "Let's do something" you say "Let's pray".
If god does exist, which I doubt, then don't you think he'd rather us doing something about the horrible things in the world, rather than saying, "Dear god, you are great, please help." and if he doesn't exist, then praying does nothing and we need to get off our lazy *****and do something about the world today.
