Google moser they can cut and narrow it for you plus they can respline the axles.I have put a rear from a c body in an a body in the past and I had to do that.

Fury is a larger/wider body than a Dart so the axle will be too wide...have to have a shop cut and reweld the tubes and get different axle shafts or get another axle for a Dart body. Motor and trans mounts and maybe driveshaft will be different as well as the front torsion bars for a V-8 and shocks. May have other clearance problems too but there's lots of sites that offer kits and info on swapping a V-8 into a Dart that had a 6 cylinder originally.

The Axle will need to be narrowed as discussed above

I personally would reconsider the 400 - I would either get a 360 crate motor, or if I was really interested in a big block, get a 440

It is a good donor axle for your dart. There werent a lot of a-body 8 3/4 axle's available. Hopefully it has a sure-grip clutch-pack in it. If not, you will want to invest in one when you buy new gears for it.

I agree with Amy, lookup Moser and find out what they will charge to narrow it.

Better axle just about 9 inches to wide
