I have 1988 Dodge Ramcharger 4x4, and I need to know where the oil pressure sending unit is. This is the first time I've ever worked with a mopar motor. The motor is a 318 V8 with the ole 2 barrel carb. Where in gods name is it?

I think it is located in the back of the motor block behind the intake manifold next to the distributor. Chime in Dodge Man

Looking under the hood, its on the left side and next to the distributor with a wire connector on top. It doesn't stick up much so you will probably have to lay across the engine and look down next to the distributor To make life easier, you're parts store should have a special socket to remove it and replace it. Other wise, try to find a deep socket that will fit.

John paul is correct it is by the distributor in the back of the motor.

Call your local auto parts store and i am sure they can help you out. If they can not they have repair manuals that should tell you. LOL where in the gods name it is located at.
