Hmmm, as much bickering there is about Christmas, I think most people could agree that it should be more about friends/family and less about consumerism.

They are both forever going to argue over who is right, even though there is no way in the world to confirm either opinion, unless God himself raises the heavenly curtains and reveals himself for all to see. Although I think believers in the Lord have an upper hand considering they have the bible, though it is up for speculation on what is true or not.

This does not apply to all atheists or to all Christians, but this is one thing a great majority of them have in common.

I assume that by "believers", you mean "Christians". If so, atheists and believers also both agree that Quetzalcoatl doesn't exist. And Zeus doesn't exist. And Ra doesn't exist. And Ninsun doesn't exist. And Freyja doesn't exist. And ALL OTHER GODS don't exist... except for Yahweh and Jesus.

I'd say that's a heck of a lot of agreement.

They also believe heaven is perfect and you become perfect if you go there.

The only thing atheists and believers have in common for certain is that we're all flawed, mortal human beings.

both believe in the concept of morality..though while the believer sees it as accomplishable through Christ, the atheist believes they can be moral by their own might.
