Send two she-bears to tear apart 42 little boys for allegedly teasing the Prophet Elisha about his bald hair? 2 Kings 2:23-25

Is this a god deserving of worship?

Sorry Zero, didn't see another question like it.

I asked a Christian friend that EXACT question and she compared it to people jumping off a cliff after they had been warned that it was dangerous. But did the boys KNOW he was a prophet, and that it would make god angry enough to send bears after them? The whole "they knew the risks" argument has to be the most stupid thing I've ever heard. Since when is teasing someone punishable by death?

People only blame God when they don't have anyone else to blame

It's all about Self responsibility

All the problems on this earth are man made

Have you thought it may have been a lesson for him to except criticism?

And do you believe everything you read in the bible ?

Without a greater understanding

That is why so many people are living in fear !

Love & Blessings

Cue christians claiming these boys were in their thirties, they also tried to physically attack the prophet, and/or that they deserved it for daring to insult a prophet.

That's EXACTLY what I've said!

*edit* I've asked several questions regarding those exact passages and wanted to see if anyone could defend such brutal carnage perpetrated by a "loving" god.

Mostly people said "god can do what he wants, don't question".

But He is such a loving God. This is just an extreme example of "tough love".
