My doctor said I have "low grade psychosis." She didn't give me a full explanation what she meant by that. Does anyone have this or know what it is exactly?

Psychosis is where you have lost touch with reality. Full blown psychosis is when people do things like hear voices, see people that aren't there or believe things like there are aliens from space coming to take them away. A low grade psychosis is when maybe there are times when you aren't really sure if what you're experiencing is real or not. I have always had a part of me that I talk to and some time this person was more real to me than my sister's and brother's but I was also still able to let you know what was going on around me and who I was taking to and where I was and what day it was and things like that. I was diagnosed with low grade psychosis a long time ago. I have never completely lost touch with reality but there are times when I've come close.
