The separation of man from God. Mankind lived under the Law. But the Law was impossible to follow completely. Jesus gave us Ten commandments. People did a poor job of following this and had to go to great lengths to reconcile. With Jesus He showed us how to obey the Law fully. And how impossible it was to be saved by the Law itself and human works without faith in a Savior and spiritual wisdom.

We are to still obey the basic commandments of the Law. It wasn't created by mistake or without purpose. Hence "The Son of Man is Lord also of the Sabbath (He instructed that one, too). With Jesus though, we are now saved by grace through faith. He taught that we no longer need to sacrifice lambs and impose upon ourselves strict regulations. He became the lamb sacrifice and nailed the ordinances 'to the cross'. Not God's eternal Commandments. Think about it; the Sabbath was blessed and given to us before there were even Jews. It's never OK to murder, steal, etc.

So we now obey the Law by faith in Jesus instead of with ordinances and sacrifices. Now there is repentance and justification. We are reconciled through the blood of a Savior. The Law with all its additional human works and sacrifice foreshadowed to us the need for that very Savior.

God bless

The penalty for sin is Death. Christ's death paid that sin for all mankind so, so long as we accept Him, we do not suffer eternal damnation and can have eternal life.

Its also because Christ rose, defeating death, that we have victory over satan, because it is Christ IN us that gives us power to overcome sin, health issues, mental bondage, the lusts of our flesh and eyes...every weight that besets us...

My sin and destiny to the Lake of Fire was resolved. Jesus has rescued me from a horrific doom, even though I did not deserve it. Though my heart is prone to wander, I ask God to keep me faithful, for that is my heart's desire. My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus' blood and righteousness. Praise Him forever.

The problem resolved is that all are in the same boat......and it is sinking. The problem is sin. No one with sin can be with God for eternity.......the alternative is usually called "hell".

Jesus took the sins of others on Himself and paid the penalty for them. All who have received the resolution of the sin problem will be with God forever.

Luke 24:40 - John 1:1

40 When he had said this, he showed them his hands and feet. 41 And while they still did not believe it because of joy and amazement, he asked them, "Do you have anything here to eat?" 42 They gave him a piece of broiled fish, 43 and he took it and ate it in their presence.

44 He said to them, "This is what I told you while I was still with you: Everything must be fulfilled that is written about me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets and the Psalms."

45 Then he opened their minds so they could understand the Scriptures. 46 He told them, "This is what is written: The Christ will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day, 47 and repentance and forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. 48 You are witnesses of these things. 49 I am going to send you what my Father has promised; but stay in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high."

50 When he had led them out to the vicinity of Bethany, he lifted up his hands and blessed them. 51 While he was blessing them, he left them and was taken up into heaven. 52 Then they worshiped him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy. 53 And they stayed continually at the temple, praising God.

Acts 13:38-40

38 "Therefore, my brothers, I want you to know that through Jesus the forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you. 39 Through him everyone who believes is justified from everything you could not be justified from by the law of Moses. 4

Eph 1:7-8
7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace 8 that he lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding.

Heb 9:22
22 In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.

Sin, the force which keeps us from the fathers love, the reason that Jesus gave his life, to fulfill prophecy that he will crush the serpents head, he did that when sin was defeated.

Mortal humans are allowed to enter heaven, even though we killed Christ. Our sins are forgiven through HIS mercy and grace. Without this, we wouldn't be worthy to get into heaven.
