I have been only to this place once, but if you want to check out a unque hot dog stand, there is a hot dog stand called Hot Doug's. They are at 3324 North California, Chicago, IL 60618, which is near Wrigley Field. For some odd reason, they are closed right now for a period of more then a day, but they say they will re-open for busness on Wednesday. You can see thier menu at http://www.hotdougs.com , do also check to see if it is open, or you can give them a call, they might also be take a bunch of days off, or even close for a week. And if that is not much to your liking, you can also check out, http://www.chicagorestaurants.com/ ,or maybe even http://www.wttw.com/main.taf?erube_fh=wttw&wttw.submit.CPRestaurantList=1 . This is a list of restuarants on a review show for dinning called Checp Please, now if you want a hto doug place, that is open much later then Hot Dous, they are only open from 10:30 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. Monday-Saturdays. Then you might want to check out the Weiner's Circle, you can read about it at http://www.centerstage.net/restaurants/wieners-circle.html , I haven't been there, but I have heard that thier is no bathroom, and even at late nights, and on weekends, they are rude to you, and they expect you to be rude back, so if offends you, you might want to skip this restuarant.

To walk try botanic gardens, they have a restaurant too, it is on the water.
Try millenium park and than drop in to the restaurants there or bennigans across the street. Or even better bring lunch with.
The art institute walk around than drop in their restaurant.
