Some people say that drinking milk and orange together upsets your stomach(something to do with the two curdling together). Is there any truth to this?

It is with some people and I am one of them. I cannot have any citrus within a couple of hours of any lactic acid.
Sorry, it is true so why the thumbs down?

The citric acid in the orange juice causes milk to curdle, so the two mixed together in a glass would be gross. As for drinking them separately at the same meal, since your stomach uses such a large volume of acid to digest food (and milk), I don't know that it would make a difference as long as both beverages were served in separate glasses.

Well, Dreamsicles (orange sherbet & vanilla ice milk) is a very popular ice cream bar.....

Acid does curdle milk protein, but be sure, you have WAY more acid in yoru stomach than there is in a glass of OJ. But curdling isn't a bad thing, so drink up!
