I can't express enough the rage his situation has caused to burn inside me. I've read about him before and the way this vicious cult has utterly ruined his life is outright monsterous.
From Wikipedia: "Henson's supporters on the USENET newsgroup alt.religion.scientology say that his trial was biased, unfair and a mockery of justice. Henson was prohibited by the trial judge, for example, from arguing that copying documents for the purpose of criticism is fair use."
I completely agree. This is yet another example of the strong-arm mob tactics of the money drunk, litigious bully, The "Church" of Scientology. It always makes me sad when I hear about people falling victim to this horrible organization.
My word of wisdom..... damn, I wish I had some. All I can say is that the rest of the world beyond the boundaries of Scientology is NOT as conniving and ruthless and cruel. It's not perfect, but it's certainly not as cold and heartless. Now that he's made his point and suffered greatly for it, the world knows and he can attempt to move on and away from Scientology. His efforts weren't in vain, by the way... he's been the subject of a myriad of news stories for several years now. He's made plenty of people aware of the dangers of Scientology.
By the way, I think most people know by now that I don't dislike Scientology simply because it's "trendy" to do so... there are PLENTY of good reasons to acknowledge Scientology as the lying, scamming, dangerou, brainwashing cult that it is. There are multitudes of people who have suffered tragic experiences during their involvement with Scientology. Read about them here:

Here are more "bad experiences" with the cult including an illegal plot to infiltrate the government, brainwashing techniques, mind control camps, attacks on critics, and DEATHS caused by Scientology doctrine and members:
● Operation Snow White – Under this official program, Scientology operatives committed infiltration, wiretapping, & theft of documents in government offices. This program constituted the single largest infiltration of the United States government in history. Among the 11 prominent Scientologists convicted of this conspiracy was Mary Sue Hubbard, the wife of Scientology’s “prophet”.

http://en.allexperts.com/e/o/op/operation_snow_white.htm
● Operation Freakout - Their campaign of sabotage & violence against Paulette Cooper, the writer who published her research & findings on several cults, including Scientology. Scientology’s official plan: to frame Paulette, ruin her career & reputation & get her either incarcerated or locked up in psychiatric confinement.
The official plan: http://www.cs.cmu.edu/~dst/Krasel/cooper/frk1.html
Her book: http://holysmoke.org/cos/books/scandal-of-scientology-cooper.pdf
● Fair Game - the Scientology policy detailing how the organization may confront & handle critics & perceived enemies. Here is a direct quote: "Enemies may be deprived of property or injured by any means by any Scientologist without any discipline of the Scientologist. May be tricked, sued or lied to or destroyed.”

● Physical & psychological punishment: Scientologists who "break the rules" while members of the "Sea Org" must subject themselves to the Rehabilitation Project Force (RPF), which includes regimes of harsh physical punishment, forced self-confessions, social isolation, hard labor and intensive ideological indoctrination.

● Brainwashing & mind control: Scientology exerts control over its members by means of typical cult tactics, including but not limited to controlling information about internal doctrine & criticism of the organization, severely restricting social contact outside the cult (including the practice of “disconnecting” with any family who question the credibility & trustworthiness of the cult), creating an “us against them” mentality by villainizing a specific out-group (for Scientology, it’s psychiatrists), & claiming all those outside the cult are unenlightened.

● Violent Kidnapping - Lisa McPherson was a Scientologist, was involved in a car accident & resultantly became mentally unstable. She was kidnapped from the hospital by agents of Scientology, held against her will, refused proper psychiatric treatment & allowed to STARVE TO DEATH.

● Tragic Murder - A CBS “48 Hours” special on Jeremy Perkins, the mentally disturbed son of Scientologist parents who, because of the Scientology doctrine of opposing psychiatry, refused to put him on the anti-psychotic drugs that would have stabilized him & prevented him from killing his own mother.

I'd like to tell him that his fight was far from being in vain. On the contrary, he has drawn attention to dangers and evils of Scientology. In doing so he may well have saved lives. Many people have died as a result of Scientology's unfounded medical practices, and his actions and story may help warn away unsuspecting victims.
It's not easy to stand up against a world wide criminal organisation, considering the tactics they use to silence opposers, so I applaud his courage.

He's a brave man to confront the people who run Scientology for their own selfish gain while masquerading as "angels of light." They have a history of going after anyone who threatens their little bizarre empire, and he was a victim of their ability to manipulate the legal system.
I'm sending prayers, good thoughts, and well wishes his way in hopes that he will be able to regain some of the faith in humanity that was crushed out of him.

I am a Born Again Pentecostal Christian, who has studied Scientology technology for over ten years. I have not been able to afford membership or training in the Church of scientology, though I would if I could. However, I have no urgent need to do so, because there is no real need. It is like going to Disneyland. If I had the money to throw away, I would go, but it is not a priority.
EVERYTHING anyone needs to know about SCIENTOLOGY is in Dianetics Book One: "DIANETICS: The Modern Science of Mental Health," by L. Ron Hubbard. No one needs anything more than that book, which does not cost ten dollars.
Having bought that book, one merely has to practive what is found inside, and in a year, maximum, one would have attained the state called CLEAR. Where one has access to all the basic functions of the mind, including Total Recall in all the senses. Many people live happy and fulfilled lives with far less than this ability. Someone like Albert Einstein is believed to have been less than 15% of CLEAR.
To become an OPERATING THEATAN (OT), one must FIRST take a test, costing about $2,500, to PROVE that one has attained CLEAR. Only then can one be allowed to even SEE the stupendously expesive OT training materials.
What I ask from everyone who goes on these "SCIENTOLOGY IS EVIL" crusades is, "HOW CAN THE ONLY ORGANIZATION DELIVERING THE STATE OF CLEAR "DEFRAUD" ANYONE?"
When I asked this question, I got banned from "Yahoo! Group ANTISCIENTOLOGY." There are people out there merely providing discouragement against people who might make more out of Scientology than they have. Mean spirited persons who NEVER used what they learned at ANY stage to help others- WHICH IS THE SECRET OF DEVELOPMENT. It is when you are faced with OTHER PEOPLE'S PROBLEMS that YOU develop and advance.
This is where Christianity failed, in it's time.
DIANETICS is taken from Matthew 18 in The Bible.
No other Christian nor Scientologist could tell you that.
L. Ron Hubbard carefully FILTERED the POOR who had no money to waste, to trap and exploit the RICH AND FOOLISH.
In Book One, L. Ron Hubbard said, that if you CLEAR three people, you will know far more about the Human mind than any psychologist. This is surely true, because THEY STILL INSIST despite Scientology's sound evidence and joyful testimony to the contrary, that CLEAR is IMPOSSIBLE to achieve.
It is sad that when some peope see LIGHT they have to embrace DARKNESS. Such is the plight of those who want to PAY MONEY to be made into GODS, without their own enthusiastic mental participation.
Oh yeah, "words of encouragement."
the very fact that anyone needs word of encouragement is that THEY ARE NOT USING THE BRAINS THEY WERE BORN WITH. The ignorant fall into this error naturally. Christians and scientologists have to be especially talented in the direction of Dumb, dumber, Dumbest to fall into the same.
WHAT WAS YOUR ORIGINAL PURPOSE IN JOINING SCIENTOLOGY? (Keith and others in his situation.)
Was it to BECOME CLEAR, or was it to JUDGE SCIENTOLOGY?
Was it to pick a fight with an organization whose resources dwarf yours'?
Obviously it must have been, because that is what you ended up doing.
Did you even attain the state of CLEAR you purportedly went looking for? Did you even TRY?
How could you become so sidetracked?
-Olatunde Aroloye.

Thank you for posting that. I must admit that I had never heard of Keith Henson. But googling him led easily to many sites willing to list his many "accomplishments". And reading them makes your post really funny.
This guy is a fanatic. He might be a right fanatic but even then he is FAR from some victim who needs cheering up.
