"GRRRR" is right!!! He was trying to touch your boobs in a public place (I'm assuming 3rd period is a class or study hall)???!!!
I wouldn't care if he "liked me or not"...I'd have slapped his face and then when I got taken to the office, I'd have made sure the principal, vice-principal, or one of the class guidance counselors (if your school has one) knew what he did.
He had NO right to do that or treat you that way, EVEN if he was just kidding around, and he needs to have his hands taped to his sides, if he can't be a little more respectful of a person's right to personal space.
And then, embarrassing or not...when my parents got called in (or at least ONE of them), I'd have told THEM, too.
He's a creep and I hope you don't think he's cute or funny or want to even so much as see him again.

he's afraid of rejection, and plus, boys dont know what they be wanting anyhow at a young age. He could be trying to maintain a "single" image around school. If he is playing games then dont even stoop to his level, just be yourself, theres alot of fishies in the sea! lol

He wanted to see if he had your heart guys like it when they have power over a girls heart.Ignore him and find someone who is real. you can't just ask someone out and then not really hang out. find someone who is your friend already they make the best boyfriends cause they know you and you know them.but yeah when he ask you that say I never really did like you I was just kindof attracted to you but now I am not at all. good luck
