its a pretty big sweet 16 and she gave me an invite on friday.. the party's today, so do you think i need to rsvp or not really?

RSVP is always a nice thing to do. I know I really appreciate it, plus it'll make her excited knowing that you are coming. So yes, I would.

Just RSVP, it can't hurt. Like someone else said, they may think you aren't coming. Its best to show up announced.

If you're going to come, they'll appreciate the "heads up". When you call to RSVP, you should apologize for RSVPing so late.

Most Deffinitley, if it is not too late, the hostess may think you are not coming.
