I tend to think that your actions generally decide whether life will reward or punish you. Sometimes there is just pure luck. And sometimes it seems, not very nice people are very succesful while nice people aren't. I think good people who do the right thing, generally are happier, whether they're successful and lucky or not, while not very nice people, are generally empty, shallow and unhappy, even if they've had huge success. It's really all about how happy you are.

No. I have also seen good things happen to "materialist [sic] and selfish" people, and bad things happen to "givers".
I do believe that irresponsible or illegal behavior will often lead to undesirable results, however, I feel no need to believe in any metaphysical notions of reward & punishment.

Selfless people will always be happy, because they are not worried about themselves. Selfish people, the opposite. If a selfish person gets something good, they want more, so they are never happy.

89% of the world is below the poverty line in desperate need of food, medicine, clean water.. The 11% should be happy every day in my opinion.. The poverty line being subsistence on $600 or much less in income a year..

Life is what you make it. You have no control over how things will turn out, or how others will treat you. You just take what life deals you and try to make the best of it.

Life is just Life. What you sow is what you reap. Own IT is the proper answer as not to throw blame where it does not belong.

Well, ultimately I think it rewards us all whether we feel that it does or not. All of our experiences, good or bad, contribute to our spiritual growth and the evolution of our souls.

I am a Christian. I believe all I have is because of God's grace. Whatever comes my way, the bible teaches me God is using it to teach me how to be the person He would have me be, while I live on this earth. Therefore, whatever comes my way, I trust Him in it.
