Do i have lice????!!!?

ok.. well my scalp has been itching lately.. does this mean i have lice..??? please help me out! thanx

Ok lice is brown and the eggs are white. Most people that have lice will itch around the ears and at the nap of the neck. get a friend to help you. put your head down and have a friend look for brown bugs or little white eggs. The eggs will be close to your scalp and will not move off the hair follicle with a little brush of the hand like dandruff will. Or if you don't have a friend you feel comfortable with asking to do this go to your bathroom and plug the tub,and really wash your hair, use conditoner. Wait for the bubbles to go down and look for little brown bugs in the water.

it is not the only cause of itchy scalp but it is a good possibilty.
Do you have a rash on you neck or shouldrs.
If so I would say Lice.
If not or your hair doesnt grow that long i would suggest you wet your hair, coat it with conditioner, then comb sections with a very fine toothed comb. Examine the comb each time you tun it through your hair. If you see any little creatures or anything move - lice.
If you comb all of your hair and find nothing I would say not lice and look for another cause.

not necessarily you may just have a dry scalp look in the mirror for any their white bugs that you can see or have someone else take a look 4 you.
