Bush and corporate America are to blame for this problem. if we wanted to, this problem could be solved. But Bush is in bed with the Mexican government.. corporate Americans want the cheap labor.. and the democrats want the votes.. So I don't know what to do. We as USA citizens just need to stand up strong for our rights.. contact congress, put pressure on people, and be active on this issue. This is the only way something can be done on this issue!

Tancredo, Ron Paul, and Hunter have the most conservative voting records on immigration.

Of these three, Ron Paul has the best chance of winning the Primary election.
Paul's campaign has almost 4 times as much money to spend as Tancredo.

This is his six point plan:
Physically secure our borders and coastlines. We must do whatever it takes to control entry into our country before we undertake complicated immigration reform proposals.
Enforce visa rules. Immigration officials must track visa holders and deport anyone who overstays their visa or otherwise violates U.S. law. This is especially important when we recall that a number of 9/11 terrorists had expired visas.
No amnesty. Estimates suggest that 10 to 20 million people are in our country illegally. That’s a lot of people to reward for breaking our laws.
No welfare for illegal aliens. Americans have welcomed immigrants who seek opportunity, work hard, and play by the rules. But taxpayers should not pay for illegal immigrants who use hospitals, clinics, schools, roads, and social services.
End birthright citizenship. As long as illegal immigrants know their children born here will be citizens, the incentive to enter the U.S. illegally will remain strong.
Pass true immigration reform. The current system is incoherent and unfair. But current reform proposals would allow up to 60 million more immigrants into our country, according to the Heritage Foundation. This is insanity. Legal immigrants from all countries should face the same rules and waiting periods.

The NAFTA Superhighway might be another significant threat to American borders.

Among other people. The Senate, the Congress and most politicians, even at the local level, have been perfectly happy with the status quo.

I think we must be very careful in thinking this way. When George Bush leaves office, the problem will only increase UNLESS we insist that our politicians -- ALL OF THEM -- enforce our laws -- ALL of THEM!

Be my guest. Bush and all the Democrats want them here for a variety of reasons.
Us Conservatives don't have much of a chance.
Conservatives MUST rebel!

The only way to fix this immigration problem is by having a “comprehensive immigration reform” But there has been a continued support of worksite raids which have had terrible repercussions, including the separation of children from their parents, increased racial profiling and intimidation, and a growing sense of fear throughout the nation’s immigrant communities. A better starting point for repairs to our immigration system would include adjusting the status of undocumented immigrants, supporting family reunification, and enforcing labor laws that protect immigrant and non-immigrants alike.

Yes.....when the object is just cheap labor....which obviously it is....yes. This goes for big corps. leaving our country or outsourcing. You can't be a #1 country and expect to live on 3rd world wages.

We were supposed to bring them up.....not drag us down.

No- I think the corrupt Mexican government is to blame for not caring for their own people.

If their lives were better in their own country they wouldn't be looking for work here would they?
