No, I have not read the Joe Barry one, but I have bought a couple of other panic books off the Net and they were all b.s.

If you are interested in a non-drug, "natural" approach to handling panic attacks try inositol (sometimes called vitamin B8).

I have bipolar disorder and also chronic panic attacks and have just done a bunch of research into inositol. There are a lot of clinical reserach studies that shows it works. In one study it went head to head compared to the popular anti-panic med Luvox. Inositol was found to be just as effective, but because it is a natural product found in oranges, bran, nuts etc it had none of Luvox's nasty side effects.

I am going to swap over from Klonopin to inositol. The link below explains the research and benefits.

Something to consider - sorry I couldn't tell you anything about that specific book though.

I haven't read it or heard about it, but it sounds like a type of self-hypnosis or power of suggestion. I guess it does work for some people who are highly suggestible. It's worth a try, anyway.
