And did Satan merely tell Eve the truth? That she would not die? Yea Yea I know you are going to say "her soul" rather than her physical body. But if someone told you DONT EAT THAT MEAT or you will immediately die. Are you thinking of your physical body or of your eternal soul? Was this some kind of trick God played on the couple? Because their physical bodies did NOT die immediately and their eyes WERE opened....just as Satan told them......so who is the liar?

Hmmm, well God made Adam first, I think The Bible is clear enough on that, but Eve was created as a byproduct, for lack of a better word. Not inferior, but weaker, someone for Adam to take care of. Much as the feminist try to convince otherwise, we girls kinda like having a man that loves us and takes care of us, the same as any real man has a need to take care of the woman God gives him. Satan, being not exactly stupid, i am sure picked up on this, and went for the weaker target. Adam was given authority, and in a way, God over the garden Eve was created to be a helpmeet, a right hand, first mate etc. no authority was given to her, why not? Perhaps God knew that she was not made to handle the pressure of responsibility that a man was made for. And just a note to the side, The first time the Bible mentions a serpent being a snake is after God cursed him. So what was he before? This is not a new thought, but a very serious one.

Heavenly Father allowed Satan to tempt Adam and Eve. Satan was in the form of a man, not a serpent. Eve refers to him like this because of his act. If Adam and Eve had not partaken of the forbidden fruit then they would never have been cast out of Eden. Therefore, they never would have multiplied.

1. Tempted? Satan.
2. Satan only told her a half-truth, leading her into a wrong descision; half truth have the equivalent damage as a complete lie. Satan still is the father of lies.

Satan is a liar and the father of lies. God is truth and never tempts us to sin. Original sin is the rejection of God's Fatherhood, because satan's lie that God The Father can't be trusted, because he is a tyrannical ruler that wants to enslave us. The truth is that God is a warm loving Father that cares for us and wants to make us happy. THis is revealed in Christ (God The Son) assumed a human nature so we wouldn't fear him. Satan's lie is that you can't trust God, so one should be their own ruler. God bless.

God would have to be the one who hung the fruit on the vine to begin with.
The whole story would be the equivelent of me putting a candy on my child's pillow every morning and telling her that if she ever ate it, she will surely die. Who is the responsible one here? Is god a sadistic child abuser? It appears so.

The whole charade falls apart upon examination.

Since you have correctly identified reasons why The accounts as written in Genesis make no sense at all, would you like to know what really happened?

Look, the fruit gave humans the ability to kill, to hurt people, lie, cheat, steal, and sin. That is all the fruit did, and it was fruit on a tree not meat. And she did die. God just told them not to eat the fruit.

James 1:12-14 "When under trial, let no one say: “I am being tried by God.” For with evil things God cannot be tried nor does he himself try anyone. 14 But each one is tried by being drawn out and enticed by his own desire."

Satan tempted them, in the form of a serpent. And just so you know, he is the father of lies.
