your intellect certainly is, we have to bring everything under the subjection .to Christ. A temptation enters the mind, if you then stop to ponder it, you think is this wrong or n ot? Then you give intellectual assent to it and consent to the sin, then you have grounds for committing that sin. we have to do battle that is (pray) say no, as long as the temptation lasts, but Jesus tells us that his grace is suffiecent for for and no one is ever forced to commit sin. But with fear and trembling do we work out our salvation.

I don't know about souls, but the mind is a battleground for every human. All the action that is played out in our lives and that of others originates in the mind, and sometimes it even gets a dress rehearsal! Its wonderful when the mind wins, but that's not what makes a profit for the media is it?

The soul battles the ego identity in the battleground of the mind. This is the jihad we hear so much about. It is the only REAL battle, as reality mirrors and keeps score.

Hmmm. Love is a battlefield.

The mind is a battleground?

Dunno.

But if you have a soul, I doubt it would be 100% in your mind...your heart and gut also have a say, don't they?

In a way it is. You are constantly trying to decide the correct thing to do, I don't believe there is a resident evil force trying to influence you, but you have to use experience, which is memory of past decisions and results of those decisions to guide you.
