....on R&S, especially. There are few people, American or otherwise who were not profoundly affected by those towers coming down and the disasters that followed. I would love to see mutual respect for all beliefs systems or the lack of any belief in a Divine Intelligence. I am asking as a human being, though any who have seen me know I am a follower of Christ. I will not be ashamed of my belief, but this is America, you are free to chose any path you want, as long as you do not violate another's inaliable rights. I feel it would be such a respectful thing for us to do.

8 Track, you Sweet Thing! I simply spiked a very high temp with a virus. I am much better, just trying not to be testy, like I often am when I don't feel well.
Please, no thumbs down. I am well aware that there is no group that has not suffered persecution at one time or another, and certainly did not mean to undermine anyone's suffering.

Are you okay? You posted the other night sick, and I have been worrying about you ever since.
I have nightmares all the time about those people who jumped out the windows. I can't stand to watch any television show that even mentions it. I wasn't in New York when it happened, I was across the river in New Jersey, and I can still see the smoke. I find it curious that most people forget that those non-combatants in a Religious war did nothing more than go to work that day.

1. Would, Man In the Box, Again, and Rooster. 2. I'm not sure if Anthony Keidis is clean now, but I think he is. 3. Grunge. They were very influential along with the many other grunge bands in the 90's. 4. No way man, at least change the name of the band. While Jerry Cantrell is a GOD, no Layne, no Chains. Dave Grohl made another band after Kurt died and guess what? It's great! Had it stayed Nirvana it wouldn't be the same.

Please do not misinterpret my answer,I mean no disrespect to the people that died that day but few people outside of America, Afghanistan, Iraq and families of the armed forces were "profoundly" affected by the events of that day and the subsequent actions.
I myself am English and grew up under the daily threat of terrorist violence from the IRA.
What happened on 9/11 was a terrible thing but there have been many terrible acts of atrocity in human history.
The events of 9/11 saddened me.Was I "profoundly affected" by it?No.

This is an excellent suggestion, and it really should be followed by every American. Unfortunately, there are many Americans who have seemingly forgotten about that terrible day of six years ago. It is very sad also that are leadership has all but forgotten about the man who brought us that terror from the sky.

The Holy Bible says that Babylon is the home of every "unclean and hateful bird". In this instance I make those hateful birds out to be the ones who came to us on 9/11. In any event, I have seen many like you who also believe this day should be held in remembrance of the fallen, and of the devil that wrought this carnage upon the earth.

I know you are a follower of Christ, even without you confessing it in words. I can tell from your compassion and concern for the victims, and for your acceptance of those who choose a different path.

I agree that this should occur. We should remember that INNOCENT people of ALL religions were killed in this tragedy and that this INCLUDES MUSLIMS WHO WORKED IN THE TWIN TOWERS.

In addition to the Libation I will be doing tomorrow to honor their memory, I will also be remembering them along with the victims of Hurricanes Dean, Felix, Katrina and Rita as well as the recent wildfires in Greece during the Genesia festival my ritual group will be celebrating this upcoming Sunday.

The Genesia was originally -- The Athenian state festival in honor of the dead, especially those who died in wars. This festival has been revived in modern form by some practitioners of Hellenismos.

It is a wonderful and noble thing to do, and may I suggest that we continue it, after tomorrow has passed? Can we not make every day a day of "Respect"?
